Welcome to

From
Seed To Supper

Your guide to
good growing,
good eating
and good health!

Seed To Supper™ is a series of  books written and illustrated by Jack Hazelton. Each book in the series is a basic guide for the cultivation, harvest, preparation and consumption of food crops, and are valuable reference sources for both beginning and experienced gardeners alike.

Intended for the home gardener, the books are filled with helpful advice and information for all who want to get the most out of their garden. Descriptions of the plant families, the more common varieties and their history, aid in choosing which plants to grow.

Step by step growing instructions guide the reader through soil preparation and planting, while identifying the most common diseases and pests or peculiarities of the plant descriptions will help in their control.

Harvesting instructions are followed by recipes and procedures for preparation, preservation and storage. Seed To Supper™ offers unusual and extended uses of plants and those other edible parts only to be found in the home garden.

Recipes, Recipes, Recipes! The written recipe style combines an older literary style with a modern list style, reintegrating the list of ingredients with directions in a typographic way. Scan the bold left justified text to check the ingredients. Read from top to bottom and the instructions combine with the ingredients as they are needed.

What to grow,
How to grow it, and
(perhaps more important)
What to do with it once its grown.
